Rector Hajrizi welcomed representatives from the American University in Bulgaria on an official visit
18/10/2023The Rector of UBT (University for Business and Technology), Prof. Dr. Edmond Hajrizi, received on an official visit the Chief Academic Officer of the American University in Bulgaria, Jay Daniel Mininger, as well as the Academic Director of Graduate Programs, Momtchil Karpouzanov.
During this visit to UBT, the chief academic officer of the American University in Bulgaria, Jay Daniel Mininger, and the academic director of graduate programs, Momtchil Karpouzanov, were acquainted with UBT’s infrastructure, institutional achievements, and the opportunities that UBT is offering to young people for academic and professional development in their careers.
Among other things, during this visit, Rector Hajrizi informed the officials from the American University in Bulgaria about the impact that UBT has had in the past decade, not only in the field of technology and innovation but also in sustainable development, institutional policies, and large-scale development projects for the country and the region.
Both parties expressed openness to future collaboration in various fields, considering the significant perspective of UBT as a crucial partner in the fields of education, science, technology, and innovation in the Southeast European region.
