Dozens of food products were exposed and consumed at the UBT Food Products Fair

A large number of leading companies, along with hundreds of UBT students, enriched the UBT Food Products Fair, exhibiting diverse food products.

 

Besides the products produced by local companies, the value added of this fair were also the food prepared by the students of the Faculty of Food Science and Biotechnology, which were extremely enjoyed by the participants in the fair.

 

During the opening session of this event, UBT Rector, prof. dr. Edmond Hajrizi said that at this moment it is very important the start and genuine cooperation between the academy and the industry.

 

“In every developed country of the world, things work properly because the academy and industry work together and they manage to turn the students into experts in each and every field. UBT is always ready to help industry and companies in every area they need, and we can do this with a high level of responsibility and competence, which we have already witnessed.”- he said.

 

He, along with numerous local food manufacturers, visited the sophisticated UBT laboratories, where all preparations and quality testing of products are conducted, meanwhile, Kosovo producers showed a high interest to start cooperating with UBT, in order to solve all the problems that they are currently facing.

 

The Food Products Fair was enriched thanks to the local companies that participated and exposed their products to support the production and usage of domestic products.

 

The companies that participated in this event were as follows: VIPA Chips, Beer Peja, Fitimi Company, Fluidi, ABI, Gazi-com, Fungi Company and KABI.
