The philosophy, structure and methodology of the program have been developed in alignment with national development priorities and the strategic objectives of UBT. The curriculum has also been informed by international best practices in FinTech education and by insights from industry developments in financial innovation, digital payments, blockchain technologies and financial data analytics.

During the design of the program, the Study Commission considered feedback from academic experts, industry representatives and stakeholders from the financial and technology sectors. Particular attention was given to labour market analyses and industry trends in order to identify the key competencies required for professionals working in the FinTech ecosystem. These consultations helped ensure that the program equips students with the skills needed to operate successfully in modern financial and technology-driven environments.

Graduates of the program are expected to pursue professional careers in a variety of sectors including digital banking, financial services, FinTech startups, technology companies, consulting firms and regulatory institutions. They may work in roles related to financial technology development, innovation management, financial data analytics, digital transformation, financial consulting and technology-driven entrepreneurship. Some graduates may also continue their academic and research development through doctoral studies in related fields.

In line with the educational philosophy of UBT and the Faculty of Management, Business and Economics, practical experience and industry engagement represent an important component of the learning process. Internships and project-based learning activities allow students to apply theoretical knowledge in real-world settings and develop practical competencies relevant to the FinTech industry. UBT has established cooperation agreements and partnerships with various companies, financial institutions and organizations, creating opportunities for students to gain professional experience through internships and collaborative projects.

In addition, students are encouraged to pursue internship opportunities with international organizations and technology companies, enabling them to expand their professional networks, benchmark their skills internationally and gain valuable global experience that is increasingly important in the evolving digital financial ecosystem.
