Mission of MBE

The mission of the Faculty of MBE is to apply excellence in teaching, learning and research within an inclusive student-centered environment to foster graduates focused on intellectual interaction, creativity, skills, teamwork and governance that are ready to take or enhance their leadership role in business, professions, industry, public/private services and society.

The Master’s degree program in FinTech and Innovation Management, which will be offered within the Faculty of MBE at UBT, is fully aligned with the mission and strategic objectives of the MBE Faculty and the UBT institution, directly addressing the current needs of society and the labor market. The program will be based on the mission of the MBE Faculty to apply excellence in teaching, learning and research within an inclusive student-centered environment, preparing graduates capable of leadership roles in business, industry and public/private services. In this context, the Master in FinTech and Innovation Management program represents a strategic expansion of the Faculty’s academic offer, in line with its objectives for program development and academic differentiation, advancement of research and knowledge transfer, internationalization and integration with industry. At the same time, the program will be in line with UBT’s institutional mission to provide a dynamic and innovative academic environment of the 21st century, promoting excellence in teaching and scientific research, as well as preparing leaders with a global perspective. Through a focus on the digital transformation of the financial sector, financial technologies (FinTech), artificial intelligence, blockchain, digital banking and innovation management, the program will directly contribute to the realization of UBT’s strategic objectives for academic excellence, increased internationalization, research and innovation development, as well as partnership with the community and industry. The program will be conceived in a way to combine theory with practice, ensuring that students are equipped with advanced academic knowledge and practical skills in the field of financial technologies and innovation management, with a direct impact on the economic development of Kosovo and the region.
