Australian Ambassador Richard Mason Rodgers Visits UBT and Praises Its Technological and Academic Development
18/02/2026The Ambassador of Australia to Croatia and non-resident Ambassador to Kosovo, Richard Mason Rodgers, paid a special visit to UBT’s Science, Innovation and Technology Park, where he was welcomed by the Rector, Edmond Hajrizi, along with the academic and professional staff of the institution.
Rector Hajrizi thanked the Ambassador for his visit and emphasized the importance of strengthening relations between Kosovo and Australia in the fields of higher education, technology, and sustainable development, describing the meeting as a concrete step toward new strategic collaborations.
During the visit, Ambassador Rodgers was introduced to UBT’s technological capacities, advanced laboratories, and innovative projects developed within this unique center in the region.
On this occasion, discussions focused on the significant opportunities to expand cooperation between Australian universities and companies with UBT and Kosovo, with a particular emphasis on innovation, scientific research, and joint initiatives in the fields of technology and sustainability.
