UBT students and professors visit works on the “Ibër-Lepenci” canal

Students and professors from the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Infrastructure at UBT visited the works on the “Ibër-Lepenci” canal, following the damage caused by an explosion that occurred several weeks ago.

The visit was carried out as part of the practical courses of this faculty, offering the opportunity to examine the situation and the works being performed for the repair and stabilization of the canal.

This practical activity served as an excellent opportunity for students to gain in-depth knowledge about the processes of infrastructure repair and maintenance, including the analyses and techniques used on site for damage management and ensuring the canal’s stability.
