UBT students attend American KFOR lecture on teamwork and international security
15/01/2025The tradition of cooperation between representatives of the US Army and the Security Studies Program at UBT continues to strengthen and offer numerous opportunities for students of this program. As part of the lectures organized by Prof. Arian Kadriu, Security Studies students had the opportunity to welcome a thematic lecture delivered by CPT. Eckstein and Sgt. Robinson, who are part of American KFOR.
This lecture was an excellent opportunity to deepen students’ knowledge in various fields of international security and to incorporate the expertise of the US Army in these matters.
During the lecture, CPT. Eckstein addressed the legal aspect of international security from the perspective of the US Army, sharing with students his thoughts and experiences on the rules and laws governing international military operations. Meanwhile, Sgt. Robinson focused on the aspects of values that the US Army upholds and promotes, emphasizing the importance of integrity, altruism, and teamwork.
He stressed that these values are essential for success during military expeditions and are also crucial for forming effective teams and achieving common goals. The lecture served as an excellent example for students, enabling them to understand how important these aspects are for teamwork, both in the military and in academic and professional fields. The lecture was an opportunity for students to learn from direct practice and experience, preparing them for potential challenges they may encounter in their future careers.
