12/07/2025

In another step toward expanding its global impact, UBT has established a strategic partnership with North South University (NSU) – the most prestigious university in Bangladesh – thereby creating a new academic bridge between Kosovo and South Asia.

This cooperation agreement lays the foundation for a sustainable partnership in the fields of education and scientific research, aiming to strengthen academic ties between the two universities and create concrete opportunities for joint development.

The agreement includes a wide range of collaborative activities, such as:

  • Development of joint scientific research in areas of mutual interest;
  • Exchange of academic staff, researchers, and students at undergraduate and postgraduate levels;
  • Joint participation in international conferences, seminars, and symposiums;
  • Joint supervision of PhD students and advanced research projects;
  • Joint academic and scientific publications;
  • Exchange of teaching materials and scientific information; and
  • Opportunities to develop joint international study programs in the future.

Through this agreement, both institutions commit to cooperating in accordance with the laws and regulations of their respective countries, building a model of collaboration based on reciprocity and equality.

This partnership is part of UBT’s broader strategy to expand collaborations with internationally recognized universities, following previous successes such as the agreement signed with the University of Thessaly in Greece. These initiatives provide UBT students and academic staff with access to global networks, enhanced research capacities, and new opportunities for professional and academic development.

Through these agreements, UBT affirms its role as a leader in higher education in the region and a serious partner in international academic collaborations.
