
UBT part of International Training in Israel on Resiliance in the Agriculture Sector
10/02/2025The professor of agriculture and environment at UBT, Ismet Babaj, is attending an international two -week seminar in Israel, which focuses on “Increasing Resilience in the Agriculture Sector”.
This training has gathered 19 professionals from different countries around the world, including Botsvana, Cameroon, Ecuador, Ethiopin, Georgia, Ghana, India, Kenya, Kosovo, Liberia, Nepal, Ukraine and Zambia.
The training program, organized by MASHAV, MATC – MASHAV Agricultural Training Center in cooperation with Iris – the International Institute of Resiliance of Sderot, aims to share with the participants of Israel’s holistic approach to agriculture and rural development. The seminar offers important opportunities for exchange of strategies on addressing global challenges and managing crises in this sector.
The experience gained from this seminar will be an added value for UBT, sharing with colleagues of the faculty and students, in order to advance new knowledge and practices in sustainable agriculture.
