UBT has achieved another important success by being authorized for the international CELI certifications (Certificati di Conoscenza della Lingua Italiana) for the Italian language. UBT is the first and only institution in the country that will now offer this opportunity to students, professionals, and everyone who wants to certify their skills in the Italian language.

The Rector of UBT, Prof. Dr. Edmond Hajrizi, said that this step greatly helps students and other professionals who want to learn the Italian language and certify their language competencies, which they can use for studies or to be more competitive in the international job market.

“We are proud that UBT is bringing a new and very important opportunity for all those who want to demonstrate their knowledge of the Italian language with an internationally recognized certificate. This step not only strengthens UBT’s role as a leading institution in education and professional certifications but also helps our students and professionals be more competitive in the international job market,” said Rector Hajrizi.

Alongside multiple certifications like TOEFL, PSI CELT, Prometrics, GRE, and now CELI, UBT is becoming a successful center for language certifications. With this new opportunity, students and interested parties in Kosovo no longer need to travel abroad to obtain an internationally recognized certification in the Italian language – now they can achieve this success at UBT.

CELI is an internationally recognized certificate, issued by the University for Foreigners in Perugia, which certifies language skills according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). This certificate is highly valued by educational institutions and the job market in Italy and beyond, giving candidates a significant advantage in their academic and professional careers.

This success has also been achieved thanks to the contribution of the Ambassador of Italy in Kosovo, Antonello De Riu, the Italian language professor, Dr. Raffaella Ritucci, as well as the Italian university “Università per Stranieri di Perugia”.
