UBT awards the “Leadership Excellence Award” to Dr. Judithanne Scourfield Mclauchlan, in recognition of her dedication to promoting the rule of law and democracy

At the Innovative Science Park of UBT in Lipjan, in the presence of many professors, staff, and students, with the decision of the Academic Council of UBT, the rector of UBT, Prof. Dr. Edmond Hajrizi, awarded the “Leadership Excellence Award” to Dr. Judithanne Scourfield Mclauchlan.

Rector Hajrizi presented the award to Dr. Judithanne Scourfield Mclauchlan in appreciation of her exceptional dedication and commitment to promoting the rule of law, building democracy, and civic activism.

Rector Hajrizi highly praised the contribution of Dr. Judithanne Scourfield Mclauchlan in the field of political sciences and for promoting democratic values and civic engagement.

Dr. Judithanne Scourfield McLauchlan is an Associate Professor of Political Sciences and Founding Director of the Center for Civic Engagement at the University of South Florida St. Petersburg, where she teaches American Governance and Public Law.

She has worked for a period at the White House during the time of President of the United States, Bill Clinton, and Hillary Clinton, and has held other important roles.

McLauchlan is an active contributor to the field of science. She has published numerous articles and book chapters on the effects of civic engagement in curricula and has presented these findings at regional, national, and international conferences.
