The 14th Edition of UBT’s International Conference on Business, Technology and Innovation Opens

At the UBT Science, Innovation and Technology Park in Lipjan, the 14th edition of the International Conference on Business, Technology and Innovation officially opened today — one of the most significant academic and scientific events in the region, bringing together thousands of researchers, academics, and students from dozens of countries around the world.

This annual conference, organized by UBT, serves as an international platform for the exchange of ideas, scientific research, and professional experiences, connecting the academic world with industry and practical innovation.

In his opening remarks, the Rector of UBT, Prof. Dr. Edmond Hajrizi, emphasized the importance of this event in advancing knowledge and fostering global collaboration.

“It is with great pleasure and honor that we welcome you to the 14th edition of UBT’s International Conference on Science, Technology, Business, and Innovation, held here at the UBT Science, Innovation, and Technology Park. This annual conference has become a cornerstone of UBT’s academic and scientific mission — a platform where knowledge, creativity, and collaboration intertwine to inspire new discoveries and shape the future of our societies.”

For fourteen consecutive years, the conference has brought together some of the brightest minds from Kosovo and across the globe, offering a unique space for sharing ideas, findings, and visions for development and progress. This year, more than 3,000 participants are expected to attend, including scientists, academics, and students who will present their work and engage in discussions pushing the boundaries of science, technology, business, and innovation.

A special acknowledgment was extended to international guests, professors, and researchers participating in this major event, contributing to the strengthening of Kosovo’s academic and scientific landscape.

This edition features dozens of parallel sessions, innovative presentations, discussion panels, and scientific papers across more than 24 fields of study, reflecting the latest global trends in business, technology, education, medicine, energy, architecture, and other interdisciplinary areas.

Through this conference, UBT reaffirms its role as a regional leader in quality, innovation, and technology, with a network of over 500 international partnerships with universities, research institutes, and organizations worldwide — collaborations that have enabled joint research, academic exchange, and projects with a direct impact on the development of modern society.
