17/02/2025On this historic anniversary of the 17th anniversary of Kosovo’s Independence, UBT Rector, Prof. Dr. Edmond Hajrizi, has conveyed his most heartfelt congratulations to all citizens of the Republic of Kosovo, emphasizing the importance of this date for the Albanian nation.
Rector Hajrizi praised independence as a great achievement of the people of Kosovo, which came as a result of the continued sacrifices and efforts for freedom and state building. He underlined that Kosovo has made important steps in its development, being strongly affirmed in the international arena.
“February 17 is a milestone for Kosovo and all Albanians. It is the day when our struggle for freedom, independence and national dignity was crowned. During these 17 years, Kosovo has proven that it is a prospective state that is developing at a rapid pace and strengthening its position in the world. It is simply a new country, but a state that creates values and competes with dignity in the international arena, ”said Rector Hajrizi.
On this occasion, he has reiterated the UBT’s commitment to make his contribution to the development of the country, through quality education and the creation of opportunities for the younger generations, which will be the backbone of the future of Kosovo.
