
On the 17th anniversary of Independence, UBT supports about 200 students with scholarships
14/02/2025On the 17th anniversary of Kosovo’s Declaration of Independence, UBT has rewarded 166 excellent students of all faculties with scholarships, assessing their excellent academic dedication and results. These students, who have reached an average grade above 9.0, have already provided significant support that will facilitate their educational journey.
During the Scholarship Ceremony, UBT Rector, Prof. Dr. Edmond Hajrizi, emphasized the importance of this reward as part of the institution’s commitment to the talent development and the support of the most prominent students. “This decision is an important sign of our commitment to support students who are distinguished and who with their work contribute to the future of Kosovo. At UBT, we offer not only education, but create opportunities for success by equipping students with the most advanced technologies and resources,” he said.
In addition to the shared scholarships for these 166 students, UBT continues to be one of the most committed institutions in support of education, dividing a total of 1 million and 500 thousand euros each year. These scholarships offer the study of hundreds of young people from Kosovo and the region, enabling them to pursue advanced studies and contribute to the development of society.
At the ceremony, Rector Hajrizi also announced the signing of academic calls for UBT professors, who, with their dedication, educate generations of professionals in over 50 fields of study. This continuous commitment aims to increase the quality of education and create new opportunities for employment globally.
