Kosovo’s Flag Waves Among 190+ Nations at the Opening Ceremony of First Global Challenge 2025 in Panama

In a spectacular atmosphere, among the flags of over 190 countries and the applause of thousands of participants from around the world, Kosovo’s flag proudly waved at the opening ceremony of the First Global Challenge 2025 in Panama. This marks the moment when Kosovo’s youth, through Team First Kosovo, step onto the global stage of innovation, technology, and creativity.

At this prestigious event, the Kosovo team — First Kosovo, composed of talented young students who have spent months preparing in UBT’s laboratories — will compete to showcase the creativity, knowledge, and innovative spirit of Kosovo’s youth. They will represent Kosovo in one of the world’s most important competitions in robotics and technology.

This year’s theme, “Biodiversity and Climate Change,” aims to inspire young people to develop technological solutions that contribute to environmental protection and the preservation of life on our planet.

UBT, as the institutional partner supporting this initiative from the start, has previously been recognized with an international gold medal for its outstanding contribution to promoting STEM education and for the successful participation of Kosovo teams in global robotics competitions.

In this competition of knowledge and innovation, Kosovo’s youth are making their country known as a new creative force on the global technology map.
