From UBT to Italy: The Academic Success Journey of Architecture Student Sümeyye Toska

Sümeyye Toska, a former student of the Faculty of Architecture and Spatial Planning at UBT, is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Architecture – Built Environment and Heritage at the prestigious Politecnico di Milano, one of Europe’s leading universities.

During her application process, Sümeyye was accepted to several renowned European universities, including the University of Florence (Università degli Studi di Firenze) — a clear testament to the quality of education and preparation she received at UBT.

“This was a strong confirmation of the academic foundation I built at UBT — a preparation that has made me competitive at every international level. Today, at Politecnico di Milano, I fully appreciate the value of my UBT education, which allows me to successfully face every academic challenge,” says Sümeyye Toska.

She emphasizes that her success is the result of the dedication and professionalism of UBT professors, who create a knowledge-driven environment that prepares students not only for the local market but also for the international stage.

Currently, as part of the Built Heritage Design Studio at Politecnico di Milano, Sümeyye continues to engage in practical and research work, proudly representing UBT in the European academic arena.
