Dren Ibrahimi – Faculty of Computer Science & Engineering

“During my years of study at UBT, I had the opportunity to extensively explore the field of computer science, which gave me a clearer idea of which specialization I enjoy the most,” said student Dren Ibrahimi, who has just successfully completed a six-month software engineering internship at GMV GmbH in Germany, as part of the Internship Programme of German Business.

The experience there was particularly special because he was given the opportunity to work on satellite software for space agencies such as the European Space Agency (ESA) and EUMETSAT. Dren’s work involved the maintenance of Mission Control Systems for several satellites, where occasional errors arise and are resolved by software engineers.

In addition to this, like many other students, Dren was able to explore different countries and broaden his international perspective.
