14/10/2026Elita Hajrizi, mentor of Team First Kosova, has been selected among the top 10 mentors in the world at the competition held in Incheon, South Korea, highlighting the importance of mentorship and dedication in nurturing young talent.
The recognition follows a selection process in which mentors participating in the competition were invited to interviews, after which a jury selected the ten mentors who stood out for their contributions. Elita Hajrizi’s selection among them recognizes her commitment to supporting and developing young people in science, technology, and robotics.
The role of mentors at FIRST Global Challenge goes beyond technical preparation. They guide young people throughout the learning process, support them in problem-solving, and motivate them to work as a team, helping them develop skills that extend beyond the competition itself.
Elita Hajrizi’s selection among the top ten mentors comes in a year in which Team First Kosova achieved another significant success, ranking fourth in the world as part of an alliance with Greece, Poland, and Mexico.
