Schneider Electric trains UBT Master students with Cutting-Edge Energy Software
09/12/2025As part of the Cooperation Agreement between UBT and the international company Schneider Electric, the Faculty of Energy Engineering organized an intensive training on December 6–7, 2025, for professors and master’s students at the UBT campus.

Schneider Electric has provided the faculty with professional licenses for two advanced software tools—EcoStruxure Power Design and EcoStruxure Power Build—widely recognized as some of the most innovative platforms in modern electrical energy system design. To ensure full utilization of these tools, a dedicated two-day training was delivered, offering practical, hands-on knowledge.
The purpose of the training was to equip master’s students with the skills needed to design and prepare projects for low- and medium-voltage power systems, integrating various electro-energetic components such as transformers, generators, motors, power lines, busbars, distribution substations, circuit breakers, fuses, and other electrical loads.
The training also enabled UBT professors to incorporate these modern tools into future practical coursework, significantly enhancing the quality of teaching and the professional preparation of students.
At the end of the training, participating students were assigned design projects to complete within a specified timeframe, which they will later present as part of the master’s course “Advanced Energy Analysis.” Upon presentation, students will receive participation certificates from Schneider Electric, adding strong professional value to their academic portfolio.
