Specializations

The program has not specializations. It will help the build cadres needed to develop independent scholarship and intellectual capacity in the context of judicial system reform and development in Kosovo.

The quality of the equipment of the lab of forensic and the guest lecturing with experts from partner academic Institutions or Law enforcement agencies in Kosovo (Kosovo academy for public safety, Anti – corruption agency, Kosovo Police etc.) will contribute on the number of research publications and activities organized related to the field.

The program is intended for public sector and non-governmental organizations as well as those from private sector wanting a better understand of computer crimes in a legal context.  It builds on the experience of the Bachelor program and the extensive demand for those targeted courses. The program is especially relevant for those looking to develop skills and understanding in relation to:

  • law enforcement, analysis and prosecution of computer crimes;
  • experts in in the field of criminal law, who want to serve for the agency of forensic, agency of intelligence, police service and other law enforcement agencies or security sectors at the national and international level.
  • court system and criminal procedure in relation to evidence gathered through digital forensics; and
  • recent bachelor graduates wanting to enhance their academic skills in law and computer criminology.
