Aims and Objectives

The program aims to offer knowledge and prepare architectural experts for the identification and analysis of architectural problems, design and development in architecture and improvement in aesthetic as well as efficiency terms.  The key architectural, urbanistic, engineering and maintenance issues are related to other important parameters as social, aesthetic and ecological values.  Students that have completed the program will be able to apply an advanced knowledge based on human, technical and social aspects and will be competent to solve programs of architectural, urbanistic and civil engineering nature.  Their enhanced communication, problem solving and analysis skills will prepare them to implement more complex project in the area and give them a route to academic research.

Upon completion of academic studies student possesses basic knowledge necessary for understanding the process of architectural design. Also, gaining skills for communication and exchange of information and ideas on issues related to the architecture profession. For the implementation of the acquired knowledge and skills to use and respect the law, standards and norms. Lastly,  the profession  and its main interdisciplinary component are prone to technological, social, economic and life style changes. Hence, it is essential that the student is committed to life long learn in architecture. The program of study, among others, aims at instilling a logic of life long learning. The program also includes courses need to build students personal and productive competences that can help the students to transfer and contextualise their competencies to different working fields and environment.
